Pedestrian nursing injuries

A PEDESTRIAN was battling serious injuries after being involved in a collision with a route taxi on Tuesday night in Oistins, Christ Church.

Andy Parris, 62, of Silver Hill, Christ Church, was crossing the road when the accident with ZR 191 occurred.

He sustained injuries to the head, left foot, hip and abdomen, and was transported by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

A woman, who was sitting in the front seat of the ZR, had an injured foot.

Michael Yearwood, 27, of Forde’s Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael, was driving the van, which had extensive damage to the windscreen, bonnet and front. ( PR/SAT)
