COME FRIDAY, Al Barrack will find out if Government kept its promise to pay him over $7 million.
The 80-year-old contractor told the MIDWEEK NATION yesterday he had postponed the original plan to check his bank account yesterday for a $5 million cash deposit, following an agreement he said was reached with Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler the day before.
Instead, Barrack said he would make one trip to the bank on Friday to see whether the full amount ($7 million) promised by Government was deposited on his account.
“I will leave everything until Friday,” he said when contacted about the latest development in his feud with the Freundel Stuart administration over non-payment of in excess of $73 million owed to him for the Warrens Office Complex building.
