MORE THAN TWO DOZEN passengers on a Barbados Transport Board bus escaped serious injury yesterday when it became involved in an accident with a truck and a car.
The accident triggered a mass casualty response outside the Deighton Griffith School in Christ Church just after 6 p.m.
Police cordoned off the area, blocked by the truck that ended up pinned to the back of the bus.
The road was impassable for more than four hours.
Three ambulances, two fire vehicles, medical personnel and members of the Barbados Defence Force (BDF) responded to the accident.
