Husbands pulls off four wins

TORONTO – Ace Barbadian reinsman Patrick Husbands reeled off four winners on the ten-race programme at Woodbine Sunday to storm to the top of the jockeys’ standings at the celebrated Canadian racetrack.
Husbands, who won his 200th added-money race in North America Saturday, unfurled several superb rides to win races one, four, seven and ten, to move to 20 wins for the new season.
He shares the summit with the outstanding Emma-Jayne Wilson, leaving defending champion Luis Contreras three back in third.
Husbands, seeking his seventh riding title at the Toronto oval, opened his account aboard the favourite Erma Lee, beating the three-year-old and upward fillies and mares by 2-1/4 lengths.
