Good show for Reggae on the Hill

Intermittent showers did not dampen the spirits of thousands of reggae fans who converged on the premises of Farley Hill for the culmination of the Digicel Barbados Reggae Festival.
When the showers came down the umbrellas went up and the excited fans screamed and shouted at the top of their voices when the various acts went on stage.
The show which started about 11 a.m. Saw the likes of Chris Martin, Tanya Stephens, Capleton, Buggy Nhakente and the final act of the night, Jah Cure, just to name a few, wooing the patrons who could hardly contain their screams and excitement.
The show finished exactly 9p.m. and from all indications the thousands of Caribbean fans enjoyed the days proceedings.
Some patrons had to wait for hours before leaving the location as traffic was at a standstill for most of the time. (MM)
