Marijuana plants destroyed in St John

NO ARRESTS were made but members of the Drug Squad destroyed some young marijuana plants growing in Coach Hill, St John yesterday.
The joint operation with the Special Services Unit, Canine Unit and the Barbados Defence Force searched six sites in Coach Hill where 188 plants were discovered.
The plants ranged in height from one foot to six feet.
Five pounds of dried cannabis were also discovered in the same area. (PR)
