Key day for ‘Inter’ final

Whatever happens?today could be very decisive in determining the winners of the Barbados Cricket Association’s (BCA) Intermediate title.
When play resumes at 1 p.m. at Foursquare Oval, Christ Church Foundation School will start the third and penultimate day on 153 for six from 74 overs in their first innings against Rocklyn Hardware Isolation Cavaliers.
The first session will be vital for both sides. Carlos Maynard (36 not out) and Xavier Duncan (3 not out) will be trying to ensure Foundation add at least another hundred runs.
Isolation Cavaliers’ bowling has been steady without being spectacular.
All eyes will be glued on former Barbados and West Indies player Dale Richards, the Cavaliers captain. The aggressive opener should provide a stern test for the schoolboys’ varied attack. His battle against the opening pair of Barbados and West Indies Under-19 fast-bowling all-rounders Jerome Jones and Jofra Archer should be a spectacle.
