Police are currently on the scene of an accident along Highway 1 near the junction with Porters Road, St James, where it is reported that a car has struck a pole which has resulted in the roadway being impassable.
Motorists heading north are asked to divert at Porters Road and travel towards the junction of Westmoreland Road and Highway 2A, while motorists heading south are asked to divert at Storehouse Gap. (PR)
