THOUGH MEASURES HAVE been implemented, there have still been challenges with paying the 1 182 staff working with the 2013 National Summer Camp Programme.
Many of those challenges resulted from late submission of information and also inaccurate information submitted from the camps to the Ministry of Youth.
This was the word from Minister of Youth Stephen Lashley as he spoke to the media after touring some of the camps yesterday along with ministry officials.
He said that in an effort to rectify the payment issues experienced in the past, the ministry introduced protocols to enhance and make the process effective. (AH)
