The true essence and meaning of life to Chynna Glasgow is family.
Chynna, 29, is a mum of two to Cruz Torrington who is five and Zen Haynes who is one. But she also plays the role of stepmum to her boyfriend Richard Haynes’ son Cruz Haynes, who is the same age as her son.
Is this how she imagined her life at this age?
Chynna was quick to say “no way” but quickly added that she could not imagine her life any other way.
“No way did I think I would have two kids from two different relationships. It’s not something I planned for myself, not something I even considered entertaining. But life happens and I’m so grateful for it happening this way. Co-parenting is a joy with my son’s father. It’s not something that was planned but it’s working very well.”
“With Richard and his son, it’s like his son is mine as well. I couldn’t have it any other way. It’s the norm for me. The kids have eased in seamlessly. This is our reality and we love it,” Chynna said.
She chuckled as she spoke about being careful what you put out into the universe, explaining that the universe listens and gives you what you want even if not in the way that you would expect.
“I always said I wanted to have three kids. I have two of my own and then Richard’s son. So no matter how you look at it, I have my three kids,” she said. (DB)
