Mara Thompson, the Democratic Labour Party candidate in the upcoming St John by-election hit the campaign trail early this morning.
Mara, accompanied by Prime Minister Freundel Stuart and other members of the party were in Sherbourne campaigning and taking their message to residents there.
The Nation’s reporter Carlos Atwell reports that the first time candidate was greeted with open arms by many residents.
One said: “She used to be Mrs Thompson, but now, she’s our queen”.
