Police make breakthrough in Ellerton shooting

TWENTY-ONE-YEAR-OLD Tremaine Raheem Barrow has been arrested and charged with the shooting death of a St George man.
Barrow, of Blenman Road, Ellerton, St George, shot Shamar Ifill, also 21, on Tuesday during an altercation. They were at a football match in Ellerton around 10:30 p.m. when Ifill received a gunshot to the midsection.
Ifill, of Crawford Road, Ellerton, succumbed to the injury the following day at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Barrow is expected to appear in the District A Magistrates Court today. (PR/SAT)
