Those were the chants and screams at Bubba’s Sports Bar on the south coast when the team of choice for scores of Barbadians, Brazil, came from behind to beat a resolute Croatia 3-1 in the opening match of the 2014 World Cup in Sao Paulo, yesterday.
When Brazil took the lead with a controversial penalty, no one screamed louder than Anne Forde. At her left is attorney-at-law Amilcar Blanche who was among the crowd of football fans. (MK)
