Commission of Inquiry into Alexandra starts Thursday

The Investigatory Commission into management and administration of the Alexandra School will hold its first public session on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Wildey Gymnasium, Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, Wildey, St Michael.
A release from the Government Information Service (GIS) this evening, stated that retired Justice Frederick Waterman has been appointed Commissioner; Milton Pierce, Senior Counsel; Michael Yearwood, Junior Counsel and Secretary to the Commission, Dr Donna Hunte-Cox.
The sessions will be held in public and will be open to the media unless the Commissioner deems any part of the Inquiry be held in private.
“The public is hereby notified that interested persons desirous of giving written witness statements, should submit them under Confidential Cover to the Secretary to the Commissioner, c/o the Gymnasium, Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, Wildey, St. Michael” added the release (BGIS)
