The curtain will come down on Exercise Tradewinds 2012 on Sunday and Chief of Staff of the Barbados Defence Force, Colonel Alvin Quintyne, is reporting satisfaction with the objectives of the programme.
Speaking to the media following the launch of the Distinguished Visitors Programme at Hilton Barbados yesterday, Quintyne explained that scenarios had been used as a major tool to test the response of the various agencies involved in the exercise.
The overall objectives were sharpening the skills and tactical responses to various scenarios and conducting humanitarian assistance during disaster relief operations.
