Bajans reaching out for answers

BARBADIANS ARE desperate for solutions.
And increasingly, they are turning to call-in programmes and newspaper columns for help.
They are sounding off on radio about love, relationships and other personal issues and the columns of weekend newspapers. Some of the popular ones are The Things We Do For Love, Midday Sound Off, Secrets Corner and Dear Christine.
Given the seeming upsurge in people using the media to vent, the WEEKEND NATION sought the opinions of pastor/psychologist Anderson Kellman, president of the National Organization of Women (NOW), Marilyn Rice-Bowen, and head of the Men’s Educational Support Association (MESA), Ralph Boyce.
