Regional hospitality company Sandals Resorts International has reported a 44 per cent decrease in its communication costs just one year after implementing a “Pan-Caribbean closed-user group (CUG) solution” from Digicel Business.
The communication solution enables unlimited calling on the Digicel network between the company’s employees across its 15 locations throughout the Caribbean.
Sandals’ director of business administration and processes, Wayne Cummings, was delighted with the savings and the improvements in their communication system.
“At Sandals, communication is a critical part of what we do.
“Therefore, we have to ensure that we have the most efficient solutions in place to keep the lines of communication open in our company – the exclusive level of service we are able to provide to our customers is dependent on this,” he said.
“Digicel Business has provided a great solution that not only keeps us connected but also allows us to be more cost-efficient.
“Plus the responsiveness of the Digicel Business team has made working with them a great experience.”
General manager of Digicel Business, Jason Corrigan, noted that “communication is very important for any company, especially for large ones with multiple locations”.
“We are therefore happy to have partnered with Sandals Resorts International to provide them with an affordable modern solution that we know would enable greater collaboration and productivity.
“The Digicel Business team is dedicated to their ongoing success,” he said.
A division of Digicel Group, Digicel Business is a regionional “full service business solutions partner that delivers value and innovation while enabling people to work better together and to connect with their customers, suppliers and communities”. (PR/SC)
