One term only?

The?Democratic Labour Party (DLP) administration could be a one-term Government.
That is according to political scientists Peter Wickham and Dr George Belle. Both said the recent “junk status” downgrade by Wall Street credit rating giant Standard &?Poor’s had exacerbated an already tough period for the Government.
Wickham said Prime Minister Freundel Stuart had not been the most astute leader and might be at the point of no return.
“He should have paid more attention to the domestic issues and handled them better so that he gives himself space to deal with the global issues. At this stage, he is having problems that are pushing him further and further into the political mire as far as elections are concerned.”
