IT’S?BEEN ALMOST?two years since the alleged gun incident in the precincts of the House of Assembly but no action has been taken as yet by the Committee of Privileges which has been investigating the matter.
Opposition MP Dale Marshall told the SATURDAY?SUN he was dissatisfied with the investigations by the committee as well as by the police.
He charged that the seven-member committee had failed to meet because members on the Government side did not turn up.
“I understand that the Committee of Privileges was supposed to meet on two occasions and the representatives of the Opposition were in attendance on both occasions, but there were not sufficient people to form a quorum,” he stated.
