It rained?on the parade of the young athletes in the Anton Norris Zone of the Pine Hill Dairy-sponsored NAPSAC meet on a wet day at the National Stadium yesterday with the overall titles not being decided.
But the inclement weather didn’t dampen their spirits as in between the drizzles and intermittent showers, at least ten records were broken.
As usual, the sprints were very closely contested, especially among the Under-13 girls, with Danica Athlerley (right) of A. DaCosta Edwards Primary barely pipping Jevana Dottin of Hillaby Turner’s Hall in Heat 4 of their 100 metres race.
