Memorable walk through history

THE INAUGURAL First Citizens Bridgetown by Night Heritage Walk produced by the National Cultural Foundation (NCF) is one that will be spoken about for a very long time.
From princes to politicians, hucksters to hoteliers, the captivating denizens of the country’s historic capital were brought to life by talented performing artistes and designers.
The recently held guided tour conducted by historians Morris Greenidge and Trevor Marshall took those participating chronologically back in time.
For some participants the “fun part” was being able to see and touch those people who made history.
The stories told varied but the emphasis was on the colourful characters and personalities who have contributed to making Bridgetown a capital city like no other.
