Mascoll lowers 800 mark again

ANTHONIO MASCOLL has done it again.
For the second time in under three weeks, Mascoll has broken the junior national record in the 800 metres.
On Saturday during the Michael Johnson/Dr Pepper Classic at Baylor University, the South Plains College half-miler raced to a win in 1 minute, 48.36 seconds, lowering the time from the 1:49.73 he did in the week prior to the CARIFTA Games.
   He was pushed to the finish by Baylor’s Patrick Schoenball who was just splits behind in 1:48.41. Charles Grethen of Texas State was third in 1:49.03.
