FLYING FISH & COU COU: Cuss-bird out on a limb

A man whose fortunes were resurrected in 2008 could now find himself out of favour, all because of his actions.
From what Cou Cou was told, this affable fellow made a spectacle of himself, even moreso than the young streaker who ran onto the cricket field at Kensington Oval last week.
It seems his shift in behaviour was due to the quantity of alcohol he consumed.
The big shocker of the night, though, was when this man went over and started ’busing a certain big-shot, to the point where an official at the event summoned the police to have him removed.
However, by the time the police got to where the commotion was the man had disappeared. It is not known if someone steered him out of there for his own good or if he had a brief moment of sobriety that helped him recognize his folly.
Whatever it was, for sure this man will have to use all his training to foster better relations with those he disparaged.
Weather package
The Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation has dealt with the person who could have been responsible for the erotic sounds filtering onto the airwaves during the weather news a few weeks ago.
Cou Cou was reliably informed that the person received a package and was shown the door because of the embarrassing episode.
Running or hiding?
Constituents in a suburban district are wondering if their beloved representative will be facing the polls when the bell rings again.
For months they have been hearing talk that the person was opting out of politics, but put it down to the many opposition operatives’ bid to create doubts in the constituency.
However, they are wondering if there may be some grain of truth in what is being said. They said not only don’t they see the individual as much as before, but now the office where they spoke to the person is no more.
What is even more worrying for them about this development is that the office is now being converted into a place of the type of business which their representative is skilled in.
The constituents therefore want their representative to clear the air and say if facing the polls again is out of the question.
Seeing red
Some big men are very upset over a comment made by a top man recently.
They’re upset over the dismissive words this man used to describe their association; they feel that he lowered them in the eyes of right-thinking people.
They are particularly upset that this man even likened their serious activity in a particular matter than no more than providing entertainment value.
What hurts them most is that they feel this man completely ignored them but praised others who did not play by the rules.
Because of this big diss, one of their number is warning that the group may play hardball when they have to deal with this big man again, so he will see just how powerful they really are.
Failing grade
A?man, once thouught of as a tough guy is now holding his head low after the tongue-lashing he received from his boss.
Insiders say that this man, known for his robust speech and combative nature, has now got to work on rehabilitating his image after his boss took issue with his management of a recent event.
They are saying that this man, often treated as the No. 2 in the organization, now has to convince everyone that he has what it takes to deserve that pick as he risks being huffed by a high flyer who consistently has been providing the statistics that the boss is looking for.
