Teachers’ day of unity

Teachers from all of the older secondary schools and some of the newer secondary made good the plan to withdraw their labour from lunchtime yesterday in solidarity with their striking colleagues at the Alexandra School.
Most of them were allowed to meet in the comfort of the staff rooms, but teachers at Coleridge & Parry had to take their talks outside of the school compound.
