PAREDOS: not throwing in the towel

The road may be long and hard but if Parent Education For Development In Barbados (PAREDOS) can make a difference in at least one family’s life, it is all worth it, said director Marcia Graham.
Despite all the signs that Barbadian values were degrading, she told the DAILY NATION, they were far from throwing in the towel.
“We are doing a good job and we will continue; we will not stop. We will not win every single person but if we win just one, that’s enough impetus to keep us going,” she said.
However, Graham said their cause needed more publicizing, chastening the media for its skewed focus. (CA)
