PEOPLE?LIVING close to the Casa Grande Hotel in Oldbury, St Philip want to know why trucks dumped rubble and old metal – from the burnt-out bonds next to the hotel – on the open land opposite the complex.
A concerned resident who sent several photographs of the activity to the MIDWEEK?NATION?said he witnessed trucks on Monday being loaded with the fire-hit materials from the bonds and then dumping them on the land opposite the hotel. He said the trucks made 20 to 25 trips to dump the refuse.
He said even though it was raining he took several photographs and videotaped the activity.
