Two charged with drug offences

A ST ANDREW MAN has been remanded after appearing in court to answer charges on the cultivation of nearly 700 marijuana plants.
Thirty-five-year-old Anthony Augustus Caesar of Gregg Farm, St Andrew was remanded when he appeared in District F Court yesterday.
He was arrested and charged with possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and the cultivation of 688 marijuana seedlings.
These were seized after police executed a search warrant at his house. A quantity of loose marijuana was also seized. The total weight was 18 pounds.
Meanwhile, Donovan Dacosta Forde of St Martins Terrace, St Martins, St Philip was arrested and charged for handling.
He was observed assisting with the loose marijuana found at Caesar’s home. (PR/SAT)
