Barbadians have been commended for the patience and strength of character they have shown during this current recession.
Prime Minister Freundel Stuart, in a televised address tonight, said Barbadians have also managed this difficult period “quite well”.
He said Barbados was going through a period since the last quarter of 2007, recognizing that it has caused some dislocation in people’s lives, putting them under some pressure.
Stuart, however, said “recessions come to an end”. (CM)
