The showcases of the National Independence Festival of Creative Arts (NIFCA) ended on a note of music in Frank Collymore Hall, last Sunday night.Instrumentalist and singers converged in the hall to deliver a splendid and flawless show for a relatively packed audience. Guests and judges enjoyed the sweet symphonies and melodies that were on show.More than 20 artistes and groups played violins, moving their fingers across the keys of pianos while others sang as they competed for the James Millington Music Showcase.The James Millington Award in Music is presented to the individual or group capable of a live performance that is flawless in its execution, unmatched for melody-and unmatched in its ability to make spirits soar at the magic of music.
