TO KICK OFF the month of activities to mark the 46th anniversary of Barbados’ Independence, the students and staff of the George Lamming Primary School had a flag-raising ceremony at the institution yesterday.
One of the highlights of the ceremony was the demonstration by the mounted unit of the Royal Barbados Police Force.
Students had the opportunity to get up close and personal with the animals after the ceremony.
