Crop Over Gala set

All is set for this year’s BNB Crop Over Opening Gala and Ceremonial Delivery Of The Last Canes on July 2 at Queen’s Park.
Chief executive officer of the National Cultural Foundation (NCF) Dr Donna Hunte-Cox in a Press conference today at the Barbados National Bank’s (BNB) Broad Street branch highlighted some of the other activities planned for this year’s festival as she collected a sponsorship cheque for $65 000.
She said on Sunday, July 3, the Bridgetown Alive Dooflicky will come off with road tennis, food stalls, entertainment, while Pan Fusion, featuring Arturo Tappin and other Caribbean musicians, will be held at Ilaro Court on July 14. Folk lovers can head to the Queen’s Park Steel Shed and the Charles Fort, Hilton Barbados, on July 19 and July 26, respectively.
Gospel lovers will have their day on July 20 at the Queen’s Park Steel Shed.
