A number of condolence books were opened in Parliament’s East Wing from today for Barbadians who want to place their signatures and short tributes to the late Prime Minister David Thompson.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Senator Maxine McClean who is responsible for the funeral arrangements, in collaboration with the Cabinet Office and in consultation with the family, detailed the times the condolence books would be opened for signatures.
Tomorrow, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, the books will be at Parliament from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. They will also be placed at Government Headquarters for public officers on those days from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The books will be at Combermere on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and in St John on Friday and Saturday and Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
