Plans for the late Prime Minister David Thompson’s funeral are moving along speedily.
Yesterday, the roving DAILY NATION team was just in time to see the closure of a site visit by ministers and the planning committee at the St John Parish Church, where Thompson will be buried.
Already the grave has been dug over on the south side of the church, where Thompson will be laid to rest after the funeral service at Kensington Oval on Wednesday.
Here, chairman of the National Cultural Foundation (NCF), Donna Hunte-Cox, and NCF’s chief technical officer Dorsie Boyce point out a huge rock that is to be removed from the grave.
