The impressive-looking Supreme Court Complex on Whitepark Road, St Michael, was officially opened yesterday, after being in use since 2009.
During a ceremony attended by several members of the legal profession, parliamentarians and others,
the building was blessed by the Dean of St Michael’s Cathedral, Dr Frank Marshall, seen here sprinkling holy water at one of the entrances.
It was Prime Minister Freundel Stuart who declared the building open, saying the “majestic edifice” should make a difference to those working inside as well as people going there occasionally to conduct business.
