Barbados’ Davis Cup tennis team put themselves in an excellent position to play for promotion to Group II of the Americas Competition after winning both matches at the Santa Cruz Tennis Club in Bolivia.
Barbados defeated Bolivia 2-1 in the opening match, before disposing of Aruba 3-0. The final group match was scheduled to be played yesterday against The Bahamas who have won one tie and lost the other.
