Businesses evacuated in Haggat Hall

The Stanley Building in Haggatt Hall has been evacuated due to a gas leak.

Earlier this morning the strong stench of gas quickly permeated the building forcing the immediate closure of offices and businesses including Ashley Furniture, Pangroove Elegant Events, Slam FM, Sherwin Williams, CGM Gallagher and Signia.

Workers have assembled in the car park awaiting the fire service who were called to assess the situation. (JW)
