DEMS again!

The DEMS are back in business – the business of governing this country for another five years.
Proving the pollsters wrong, the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) was returned to office with a narrow majority in yesterday’s closely contested general election.
When the recount for the St Michael South-East riding was completed around 5:27 this morning, the Barbados Labour Party emerged the winner of the seat, making the official result 16-14 in the DLP’s favour.
Here, Prime Minister Freundel Stuart greeting jubilant supporters at party headquarters early this morning after it was clear the Dems had won.
