NEW MINISTER OF?RURAL DEVELOPMENT Denis Kellman says he’s looking forward to the challenge of his new mandate.
Speaking to the DAILY NATION last night, minutes after Prime Minister Freundel Stuart made the announcement, Kellman said: “There’s a lot of work to be done . . . housing, roads, agriculture and also small businesses.
“I have been given a challenge and I am prepared to take on the challenge in the interest of the country.”
The St Lucy MP, who also has responsibility for Industry and Small Business, said small businesses would play a special role in the current economic times.
