Shamel Waterman pleading Lord, I’m Available To You on her way to winning the second LIME Gospel Challenge 2011 at the Frank Collymore Hall on Saturday night.
The member of Life for Today Restoration Ministries received the top prizes of $5 000, a Blackberry Torch and the LIME Gospel Challenge Trophy.
She was the sixth contestant on stage, but the confident Waterman always believed her voice and passion would take her to the top four. She scored 407 while second place went to the only male in the batch, Dave Walcott, with 398 points. (KB)
