The popular Pork Lime kicked off for 2011 last night at the LIME Sports Club with the hundreds who turned out to gorge on the tasty and varied offerings of meats and drinks served up.
From early in the evening the patrons started to gather as friends left work and headed to the lime to just relax and enjoy a meal or a drink.
As darkness settled in more people stated to arrive as members of the Royal Barbados Police Force took charge along the highway with the entry opposite the Shell Gas Station being closed off to avoid the backup of human and vehicle traffic as in previous years. (KB)
