Lord, help us!

“We are taking back Barbados!”
With this declaration, scores of concerned citizens, church leaders and some members of government sang and prayed to God for a miracle in the island.
This was the first pre-Independence National Day of Prayer organized by the Pastors for National Transformation at Independence Square last night.
Prayers were also offered by Reverend Dr Holmes Williams and Apostle Eliseus Joseph. The preachers blessed the nation and asked for guidance for Barbados’ leaders and help for various social ills.
The Mount Zion Kingdom worship team, headed by James Leacock led the congregation in joyful worship during the more than two-hour event. With hands held high and voices strong, they asked for a transformation in Barbados. (LW)
