Drummer boy

At nine years old, Simeon Maynard is already beating up a storm on the drums.
And the thousands who were at the Gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex for the National Independence Festival of Creative Arts Gala last Sunday night were caught up in Maynard’s creative fury as he delighted an appreciative audience with his rhythmic skills.
His piece was an original entitled Cool Summer, composed by Robin Mayers.
