LIAT has increased flights to handle the upcoming carnivals across the Caribbean, as well as the Rihanna Loud Concert in Barbados which comes off next Friday.
A release from the airline today stated that increasing traffic response to the high demand for travel into Barbados, Antigua, Tortola and Grenada has resulted in the increase in capacity to and from those destinations.
Corporate Communications Manager Desmond Brown said LIAT said they have also offered discounted fares into Barbados for the Rihanna concert.
“This is a heavy season for travel with three major regional events overlapping,” Brown said.
“We are constantly monitoring our loads into these destinations and adding capacity where necessary to meet that demand. This is an ongoing process.” (PR)
