Tropic wave to affect Barbados

It could be a rainy Kadooment Day this year.
A bulletin from the Barbados Meteorological Services today stated that a strong tropical wave is located about 1 000 miles to the east-southeast of Barbados.
Forecasters predicts there will be further development during the next few days.
“On its present track, the system is expected to begin affecting Barbados late Sunday into Monday with the likelihood of some moderate to heavy showers, scattered thunderstorms and gusty winds spreading across the island”.
Residents are urged to remain on the alert for any further updates.
