Why did a woman send the police to warn her neighbour about harassing her but did not complain to them about her boyfriend sexually molesting her young daughter?
Is it because the old man has been paying her bills, buying her groceries and supporting her for the past couple of years?
While she is keeping silent about this assault on her child, neighbours in the small community are wondering what is going to happen when the child’s father is released from prison early in the new year. They know this man has a temper and are afraid his freedom may be very short-lived.
This woman, who is not well liked in the community, should stop complaining to the cops about her neighbours, give back the old man his TV and DVD and get him arrested for interfering with her under-age child.
Family fed out of Govt pot
Every day the relatives of a School Meals worker have been lining up at the school where she works to collect their meals.
Staff at the school want to know how this woman can blatantly give food to her family when she refuses to give the little students a second share if they ask for it.
They also want to know why her family members, including her mother, children, brothers and sisters, have to eat out of Government’s pot. Can’t they prepare their own meals at home?
Uneasy staff
Reports indicate that there is a lot of uneasiness at a certain institution which is about to make a fresh start.
Even though staff are being given the assurance that the status quo will remain the same, many of them are having trust issues.
That is why they are saying that they would have preferred to take their money and run.
Final innings?
Worry has hit a select team. They have no more time to do what they promised to do, and with the umpire closely watching the clock to call time for the game to finish, they’re concerned not enough may have been done for them to be sure the selectors will give them the nod for the next game.
Of course, they have already been whispering to the team’s fans about what a bad wicket they were given from the start, and this is what is responsible for their performance. Because of this, they never had enough resources to counter the several challenges they have faced.
They know other teams in the region were harshly treated by their selectors just after one game, so this local team is going all out to fashion a message to suit the performance.
Maybe that’s why their captain is determined to use every delivery to gather as many runs as possible.
