KIERON?SAVOURY of Queen’s College put on his own show when the Co-operators General Insurance Under-16 basketball tournament was launched with a slam dunk competition at the Springer Memorial School on Wednesday.
From his first dunk, which was a two-handed monster from a bounce off the backboard, it was obvious that Savoury was ahead of schoolmate Adam Niles and CARIFTA?GAMES high jumper Brandon Hope of Lester Vaughan.
The second dunk, a 360 aerial spin ending with a two-handed jam, sealed the deal for Savoury and topped the other six competitors.
