Police probing beating report

An altercation between two secondary school students has ended up a police matter in what an eyewitness is calling the “ultimate in folly”.
Reports reaching the DAILY NATION from the eyewitness indicate that around 3 p.m., a female student of the Graydon Sealy Secondary School was travelling near the school along Paddock Road, St Michael, when a male student of St Leonard’s Boys’ School asked her for a snack she was eating.
The eyewitness said the girl was wearing overalls, indicating she was no higher than third form while the boy looked slightly older.
According to the report, the girl refused and he snatched the snack from her. The girl attempted to snatch it back and this was when the boy “locked off” her neck and punched the girl in the face repeatedly. (CA)
