R. Kelly has been hit with some bad news just before his performance minutes away from taking to the St Lucia jazz stage.
A source said on his way into the island on his private plane he got a call that his nephew was killed in a car accident.
He is still slated to perform and fly right back out at end of his set.
It is reported that he is very emotional at the moment and it is left to see how it affects his performance.
