Tough economic times bit into the show that is the annual Christmas promenade in Queen’s Park with only a sparse few strolling today in the fashionable and colourful outfits traditionally associated with Christmas morning in the park.
It was a big disappointment to the many photographers who turn up every year to capture the styles.
But for the large number of people who go to the Park for the annual concert by the Royal Barbados Police Band, in the words of one regular it was “a lovely Christmas morning with the band,”. (GC)
