BARBADOS’ SERVICE CLUBS will again be doing their part to ensure that less fortunate Barbadians do not go hungry for Christmas.
The Salvation Army will be hosting its annual Christmas feeding programme, catering to 100 people.
Divisional commander Dewhurst Jonas said a volunteer group would be conducting the programme, adding the meals on wheels programme would not be in effect this Christmas.
“Instead, what we have done is to take groceries to the ones we usually take meals to. We did that today [yesterday],” he said. (CA)
